Microsoft Hires Family Guy to Sell Windows 7
Last Updated on Sunday, 29 November 2009 09:46 Written by Naota Thursday, 15 October 2009 01:23
According to Tom’s Hardware, Microsoft has recently constructed a deal wth Fox to advertise Windows 7. This deal has been agreed to be Family Guy’s creator, Seth MacFarlane, and is set to air on November 8th. Keep in mind that this is three weeks after Windows 7 if launched.
The current title is “Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex’s Almost Live Comedy Show” and it according to Tomshardware, is, “a mix of live-action musical performances, animated shorts and celebrity guest appearances”.
Will this actually boost sales or adoption of Windows 7? I highly doubt it! What do you think?

“Barrelfish is a new operating system being built from scratch in a collaboration between researchers at ETH Zurich and Microsoft Research, Cambridge. We are exploring how to structure an OS for future multi- and many-core systems. The motivation is two closely related hardware trends: first, the rapidly growing number of cores, which leads to scalability challenges, and second, the increasing diversity in computer hardware, requiring the OS to manage and exploit heterogeneous hardware resources.”

Yet Another Microsoft Product – Microsoft Courier
Last Updated on Sunday, 29 November 2009 10:07 Written by DarkKnightH20 Monday, 28 September 2009 12:00
The photos were leaked and information was given — Microsoft is releasing yet another product. This one comes in the form of a dual screen, mutli-touch tablet. Each screen is 7 inches, making it a nice size. Will this product sink or swim? I guess only the future shall tell. I just hope that the operating system runs smoothly and that the screen is very responsive, though it won’t matter much to me since I’m not buying one anyway.
