Want to Ensure Your Luggage Isn’t Lost?

want-to-ensure-your-luggage-isnt-lost

An amusing little article picked up from Lifehacker today: Want to keep your luggage from getting lost? Pack some heat, mothafucka.

From the article:

Most of the time, travelers are on the short-end of TSA regulations. In this instance, however, you can use travel rules to your advantage. If you’re traveling with equipment you would prefer locked up and watched more closely than your run of the mill luggage, you can pack a firearm with the equipment or luggage. Whether or not you own an actual firearm isn’t important—the TSA considers a starter pistol a firearm, and it must be checked in and secured properly.

Exploiting the Second Amendment and TSA regulations for profit, gain and minor lulz.

Gearbox, the creators of the FPS RPG Borderlands, recently released the DLC / Add-on Pack called the Secret Armory of General Knoxx. It was released on the 25th, but already it has been not only leaked throughout the internet before then, but shortly after was already cracked. Crackers are getting faster and distribution via file downloading methods such as torrenting, HTTP file hosting websites (i.e. Rapidshare, Megaupload, Mediafire), and general p2p. Patch 1.30 is also out. This patch was released on the 25th for PC. That, too, has been cracked. This applies to not only the PC version, but also the Xbox 360 version and the Playstation 3 (PS3) version. Gearbox does an amazing job though. Support the developers — purchase the DLC legally!
