iPhone For Verizon?
Last Updated on Tuesday, 26 January 2010 04:03 Written by DarkKnightH20 Tuesday, 26 January 2010 02:43
Verizon customers may be happy to hear that Apple might be offering the iPhone to Verizon users soon. This is because this week Apple may drop their exclusive AT&T contract according to HotHardware.com. There’s rumors floating around that Verizon may be the new carrier for the iPhone. I myself would love to have an iPhone on Sprint’s network, but I doubt that’ll happen! If Verizon does start to sell the iPhone, however, then expect people hacking them over to other CDMA-based networks (i.e. Sprint). One thing is sure regardless though, if AT&T loses the iPhone it will take a very heavy blow. The expected day for this to occur is on Wednesday.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for iPhone/iPod Touch Review
Last Updated on Friday, 22 January 2010 03:20 Written by DarkKnightH20 Thursday, 21 January 2010 11:08
Recently, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars was released for the iPhone. I know what you’re probably thinking — It must be pretty bad…a GTA game on the iPhone? On the contrary, they did an AMAZING job! It’s only $10, but offers much of the same fun found on the DS version of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. The music isn’t as good, but that’s not a problem since you can create your own in-game radio stations using the music that’s on your iPod Touch or iPhone. Pretty neat! For the full review, a description, and a screenshot of the game, read on!

Ant Wars can be a fun game to play while bored. Get it for free by checking out this link I haven’t played the iPhone/iPod version, but it could be fun. It’s nothing like the PC/flash version though — which is much better.
Apple Rejects uTorrent iPhone App (uMonitor), Forced Underground Release
Last Updated on Sunday, 28 March 2010 03:10 Written by DarkKnightH20 Tuesday, 1 September 2009 12:00
This is an excerpt from TorrentFreak. For more information, the full article can be read Here. As for the application about to be mentioned, it can be found on Claudio’s Website along with a lot of other information pertaining to the app.
Apple is known for the stringent guidelines it applies when deciding which software it allows in their App Store – BitTorrent is one of the things on their ban list. Apple argues that BitTorrent is often used to infringe copyrights and that such applications are a no go for the App Store, forcing developers to go underground.
µMonitor is a handy iPhone application that allows users to control their uTorrent client on the go. After putting months of hard work into getting the software ready for a public release, the developer Claudio was told by Apple that everything related to BitTorrent has been banned from their App Store.
The app itself is actually pretty useful looking and has a nice, easy to use interface. I haven’t used it myself — so this is just judging by the screenshot — but it looks like a worthy download. It’s too bad that it was denied from the app store, but that’s to be expected since the reputation of Torrents and Torrenting are smudged by illegal use.
Free iPhone / iPod Touch App – Alphabetic
Last Updated on Saturday, 27 March 2010 11:43 Written by DarkKnightH20 Sunday, 23 August 2009 09:29
You can download a free iPhone/iPod Touch game called Alphabetic here. Credit to Beave @ Slickdeals.net for posting this deal! The game is normally $1-$2 so free is nice. Beave’s description for the game: “The premise is pretty simple… You’re looking for a letter (or pairs of letters) as groups of bright fluorescent letters move, flash, and bounce around the screen. At first you go through the alphabet in order, later on you look for pairs and other challenges. It’s a fun little game. More of a quick-response hand eye coordination type game for those who aren’t into those types of games. A word of advice, clean your touchscreen first so it’s as responsive as possible.” Screenshot–
