AreYouAHuman Captcha – Cracked Already
Last Updated on Saturday, 26 May 2012 09:14 Written by DarkKnightH20 Saturday, 26 May 2012 09:13
For those of you unfamiliar with AreYouAHuman’s CAPTCHA — it replaces those annoying text-based CAPTCHAs where you try to rewrite the blurry / pixelated CAPTCHA text into a box. Instead, you play a game (such as drag all food into a refrigerator). This is a nice alternative that is way less frustrating. Is it more secure though? Nope. It’s been cracked already. See the below video for more information!

This proof of concept shows that bots can take advantage easily if they ever encounter this protection (good for spammers, bad for normal people).

Gearbox, the creators of the FPS RPG Borderlands, recently released the DLC / Add-on Pack called the Secret Armory of General Knoxx. It was released on the 25th, but already it has been not only leaked throughout the internet before then, but shortly after was already cracked. Crackers are getting faster and distribution via file downloading methods such as torrenting, HTTP file hosting websites (i.e. Rapidshare, Megaupload, Mediafire), and general p2p. Patch 1.30 is also out. This patch was released on the 25th for PC. That, too, has been cracked. This applies to not only the PC version, but also the Xbox 360 version and the Playstation 3 (PS3) version. Gearbox does an amazing job though. Support the developers — purchase the DLC legally! Last Updated on Tuesday, 12 January 2010 12:49 Written by DarkKnightH20 Wednesday, 13 January 2010 10:00
Though it was inevitable, the 728-bit RSA encryption has been cracked! This means to be truly secure people must use 1024-bit RSA encryption. To crack this encryption, a cluster of computers were used. It took a bit less than half a day and the result was 5 terabytes of data. 1024-bit RSA encryption will be compromised next.
