Borderlands DLC 4 – Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution
Last Updated on Monday, 29 December 2014 10:53 Written by DarkKnightH20 Monday, 16 August 2010 12:28
Are you a fan of the game Borderlands? Beat the DLCs? Well, DLC 4 is not that far away. It’ll set you back $10 for the Playstation and PC versions, and 800 Microsoft Points for the XBox 360 gaming system.
The Premise of the Game Addon
Basically, you are against the Hyperion Corporation this time. Information was leaked about DLC4 from the recent 1.3.1 game patch. The introduction of DLC 4 can be read here (note that it IS subject to change before release)–
Marcus: Our story began when the Hyperion Corporation decided they’d had enough of the treasure hunters. With The Vault on lockdown, they had served their purpose, and now they were a drain on the economy. Why pay full price for weapons when you can take a five-finger discount off the nearest corpse?

Borderlands DLC 4 On Its Way
Last Updated on Tuesday, 3 August 2010 04:56 Written by DarkKnightH20 Wednesday, 4 August 2010 09:00
I don’t know about you guys, but I have been waiting what feels like forever for the new DLC for Borderlands to be released. This is DLC number four. General Knoxx was pretty cool, and added a good bit of content to the game, so if DLC IV is anything like that, then it’s going to be awesome and a good time consumer.
No release date has been given yet, nor any real information on this upcoming DLC. So why did I make a post? Well, the only information we had to go on about DLC4 was from the Borderlands staff stating that making more DLCs was a no-brainer. Ever since, no more information has been given of any nature…Until recently. Randy Pitchford of the Borderlands staff recently twittered about DLC 4. Unfortunately, it didn’t say much about it, but you can only twitter so much anyway. It’s pretty vague, but here’s what he wrote:
“I get a LOT of questions about more DLC for Borderlands. Yes, more is coming! T2 already said so! Let’s talk soon :)”
Source: Twitter
Information is found on Twitter a lot when it comes to Borderlands. The previous DLC had a twitter account that divulged information to users who found it. It may even have information about DLC4 eventually. Check it out Here.

Funny Borderland Trivia
Last Updated on Wednesday, 28 April 2010 06:50 Written by Foose Wednesday, 28 April 2010 06:50
So as I was casually browsing through the web, I ran into a few humourous comments and quips about Borderland material:
-General Knoxx makes a comment on Mordecai on his twitter account:
“troops will deploy today if all goes to plan. just met a man named mord-ee-kai. Dude, eat something!!” (Referencing Mordecai’s rather thin build, which also brings up the question of how Mordecai is even supposed to hold sniper rifles and Rocket launchers)
-In T-Bone Junction, there is a secret shrine of Lilith which consists of her wanted poster and two spinning circles over her breasts.
-Pictured on “Wanted” posters in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, Brick has a higher bounty on his head, at $9,999,999.99, than the others, who are targeted for $1,000,000.00. His listed crime is “Murder and Dismemberment of anything that moves”.
-When playing as Brick as the host of a game, you can get an artificial speed boost by going into Berserk mode within less than a second of being downed or dying otherwise which will not impair your ability to use weaponry or your peripheral vision, but will fool the game into thinking that you are moving in Berserk mode (Brick’s walking speed in Berskerk mode is the equivalent of a normal sprinting speed). The effects of the glitch are somewhat permanent with the speed boost going away only after using Berserk mode again or after you quit the game. The glitch is infinitely repeatable as long as you are the host of the game.
-In the mission Wanted: Dead!, displayed text from each character highlights their individual personality traits. Lilith’s script is signed off with a kiss mark, Mordecai uses a cursive hand-writing scrawl, Roland prints neatly in capitals, and Brick’s writing is a barely legible and child-like scribble.

Borderlands DLC Secret Armory of General Knoxx Cracked and Leaked
Last Updated on Friday, 26 February 2010 03:18 Written by DarkKnightH20 Friday, 26 February 2010 02:37
Gearbox, the creators of the FPS RPG Borderlands, recently released the DLC / Add-on Pack called the Secret Armory of General Knoxx. It was released on the 25th, but already it has been not only leaked throughout the internet before then, but shortly after was already cracked. Crackers are getting faster and distribution via file downloading methods such as torrenting, HTTP file hosting websites (i.e. Rapidshare, Megaupload, Mediafire), and general p2p. Patch 1.30 is also out. This patch was released on the 25th for PC. That, too, has been cracked. This applies to not only the PC version, but also the Xbox 360 version and the Playstation 3 (PS3) version. Gearbox does an amazing job though. Support the developers — purchase the DLC legally! Want to read the changelog for patch 1.30?
