Radar detectors on phones?

Yes, its called Trapster and it works like this: Go to the Web site, and sign up for a free membership. Then download the Trapster software to your cell phone or PDA. Tenereillo said that most current-generation cell phones, Blackberries and other PDA’s can accommodate the Trapster software. Then, you’re ready to hit the road. And once you’re tooling down the highway, if you spot a state trooper or city cop lying in wait with a radar gun or laser unit, you just need to punch in “pound one” on your cell phone — or dial a toll-free number. Other users are then alerted on their cell phones or PDA when they approach the same trap.
It works with the Twitter stream so all information is realtime. And yes, even 10 minutes of an information delay can ruin your day.

HTC Titan With Android OS
Last Updated on Sunday, 28 March 2010 03:11 Written by DarkKnightH20 Thursday, 3 September 2009 08:09
I’ve been messing with my cell phone lately to make it more fun to use…So I decided to load up a port of Google’s Android operating system on it. This port is far from complete and there were MANY bugs, but it was an interesting experience. The user interface was nice (and would be nicer after all the glitches are gone) and easy to use. Because it is a Google operating system, Google ties it closely to their services and asks the user for their Google account info. If the port is ever in a state that makes it much more usable, I’d possibly even switch over to it. After deleting the Android OS I decided to upgrade from Windows Mobile 6.0 to 6.1. I noticed improvements…But not enough changes to make me satisfied so I decided to change from 6.1 to 6.5 and all I can say is “oh my”. More information on that experience can be read @ DarkKnightH20.com

HTC Touch Pro 2
Last Updated on Wednesday, 2 September 2009 12:30 Written by DarkKnightH20 Wednesday, 2 September 2009 12:30
So I had been planning on getting the HTC Touch Pro 2 for awhile now…But I’m starting to wonder about that. The keyboard and screen were very attractive to me, but in the end it’s just a Windows Mobile phone that has similar hardware to the previous HTC Touch Pro. All I know is DarkKnightH20 needs a new phone ASAP and doesn’t want to spend over $400 on a phone that clearly isn’t worth the $4xx…But, look at it–
It’s sexy, but attracts fingerprints. Foose recently got the Palm Pre and is very happy with it, but I don’t want to go that route. Deliberation…

Apple Rejects uTorrent iPhone App (uMonitor), Forced Underground Release
Last Updated on Sunday, 28 March 2010 03:10 Written by DarkKnightH20 Tuesday, 1 September 2009 12:00
This is an excerpt from TorrentFreak. For more information, the full article can be read Here. As for the application about to be mentioned, it can be found on Claudio’s Website along with a lot of other information pertaining to the app.
Apple is known for the stringent guidelines it applies when deciding which software it allows in their App Store – BitTorrent is one of the things on their ban list. Apple argues that BitTorrent is often used to infringe copyrights and that such applications are a no go for the App Store, forcing developers to go underground.
µMonitor is a handy iPhone application that allows users to control their uTorrent client on the go. After putting months of hard work into getting the software ready for a public release, the developer Claudio was told by Apple that everything related to BitTorrent has been banned from their App Store.
The app itself is actually pretty useful looking and has a nice, easy to use interface. I haven’t used it myself — so this is just judging by the screenshot — but it looks like a worthy download. It’s too bad that it was denied from the app store, but that’s to be expected since the reputation of Torrents and Torrenting are smudged by illegal use.
