- AMD CEO Dirk Meyer calls it quits
Despite all the good news coming out of AMD lately, we just caught word that AMD’s CEO and President Dirk Meyer has resigned from his position. Meyer held the chief position at AMD since replacing Hector Ruiz in July 2008. In the interim Meyer will be replaced by Thomas Seifert.
