Squirrel Super Soaker
Last Updated on Sunday, 12 August 2012 03:24 Written by Foose Sunday, 12 August 2012 03:22
If you ever have a squirrel problem and some free time, why not wage a war? Kurt Grandis used Computer Vision to recognize birds at first, but his backyard feeder attracted squirrels. Using a web cam, the recognition software, and a few other hardware tricks, he managed to have the computer shoot a super soaker at the squirrels! Drawback: Too many squirrels, so the soaker constantly ran out of water.

Civilization V Gods and Kings Error MoveFile Failed Code 3 Fix Solved
Last Updated on Saturday, 11 August 2012 03:38 Written by Naota Friday, 10 August 2012 11:47
An error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory :
MoveFile failed; code 3.
- Install Civilization V on your C drive with a short name. I saved it as “Civ5” (c:\Civ5) and will reference it as such.
- Install any updates you want. I patched up and installed the other DLCS first
- Install Civilization V Gods and Kings in the same Civ5 folder. When prompted if you want to install in the same folder, hit yes.
- Install any remaining patches and play
Error MoveFile Failed Code 3 is due to the fact that the path was too long in length when saved in Program Files. This is because there are way too many folders in Civilization.
I hope this guide helps someone, as when making this test, my Civ V install went rogue and deleted half my programs/games when I was testing other solutions. ugh lol

Good morning. I spent almost all yesterday figuring out how to work my new phone, the Impulse. Its been a while since I’ve had a touch screen and a smart phone. But after much time spent with it, I can finally write a review:

Vibrate modes, and Wi-Fi
SUMMARY: By far one of the most interesting phones, and I’m in some position to make this call, since I went through about 11 phones while with Sprint (Only 1 survived intact) The Android OS is definitely a new experience for me, a good one too. The battery life is questionable, the background stuff uses a lot of juice, like the location services for example. On that note, there is an app that displays each service that is consuming the most amount of battery, so you’ll know which ones to stop to save your battery. Another cool feature is the Swype input feature, basically you “swipe” over the keys you want to enter, so if I wanted to type in “Skyline” I’d start at “S” and swipe my finger to “k” then to “y” then to “l”, etc etc and it’d come out as “skyline”
RECOMMENDED APPS:
What’s a phone without apps? Well, after testing a good bunch of them, I personally recommend:
Flashlight by Nikolay Ananiev – A great app to turn your LED flash into a flashlight! Or a strobe light, or whatever you feel!
Vlingo by Vlingo Corp. – Pretty much the Siri of the Andriod world. Has an in-car mode, customizable spoken greeting, and is amazingly accurate voice detection!

Sega Genesis + Shock collar
Last Updated on Thursday, 16 August 2012 07:32 Written by Naota Tuesday, 7 August 2012 12:20
These geniuses went ahead and hacked their Sega Genesis so that it would work with a shock collar as well. The shock collar is activated when the players receive damage or get killed in the game. And… well, you’ll see.
This has got to be the most genius thing ever, and stupidest.
