Yet, the 3.0 firmware had some issues, with the result of certain games freezing after long durations. One of most notable games, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, froze and crashed the game for many user that it actually prompted Sony to look into the issue.

Video Game Hero of the Month: September 2009 – Link
Last Updated on Monday, 14 September 2009 02:30 Written by Wrathie Monday, 14 September 2009 02:30
A hero with a different story but with the same destiny, Link is one of the most unique and innovative heroes out there. Link is unique in the sense, for that each “Legend of Zelda” game that he is in, it is a different incarnation of Link. So while your playing as Link, your really playing as someone else each time. His bravery in all of the “Legend of Zelda” series ables him to wield his greatest weapon: the Master Sword. He is also a guardian of the all mighty Triforce, as well the keeper of the Triforce of Courage.

Geek Montage Remembers: 8th Anniversary of the September 11th Attacks
Last Updated on Friday, 11 September 2009 08:46 Written by Wrathie Friday, 11 September 2009 08:46
On this date 8 years ago, an attack occurred on US soil that lead to the deaths of over 3000 people. They were civilians, they were firefighters, they were Americans. The entire staff here at Geek Montage would encourage you to reflect upon these events, as well as honor the men and women who sacrificed their lives on that day and everyday for our freedoms.
America is a nation of great, proud, and diverse people; and when the attacks happened it alienated the Muslim people due to their beliefs. We must always remember that the attacks were carried out by extremists, and not by the great Islamic people who worship and live in peace. Today should also be to strive for understanding, tolerance, and tranquility.
This post time, 8:46AM EST, reflects the time when the first plane hit the Twin Towers. It is a way for us understand how one minute can change the course of history, and how one minute it can have an affect on your life.
Let us all remember and let us all hope and pray for a future of peace and harmony. Bless America, Bless the World, Bless us all.

NFL Regular Season Begins!

It’s that time of year, and despite our geekiness here on GM, we still love football…well, most of us do. My favorite sport out of all proffesional leauges, the NFL is something that somewhat pays almage to the gladiatorial games of yore, and somehow still makes some of the games come out in near mythical fashion. If you ever watch “NFL Films” you know what I’m talking about. 😀
