The Sims 3 Late Night Expansion Pack Crashes, Lags, Freezes, Errors, Glitches

The Sims 3 Late Night Expansion Pack promises many new activities for you and you Sims! Unfortunately this game has been bundled with tons of errors as well. We have compiled a list of fixes for the Sims 3 Late Night Expansion Pack. I hope that these fixes will help keep your game running correctly.
Because this game is very new, the current list of fixes we have is limited. But don’t worry, we will continuously look for fixes to help you. Just comment if you need help or have fixes for us to add.
Sims 3 Late Night Expansion Launcher Crashes or Freezes When Play Button Pressed
Step 1. Right click my computer and choose properties.
Step 2. Select the “advanced” tab and then choose “settings” under the “performance” section.
Step 3. Select the “Data Execution Prevention” tab and choose, “Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those that I select”
Step 4. Add the expansion to the list by click the add button and navigating to the game folder for Sims 3 Late Night Expansions. You can find it located here.
C:\\Program Files\\Electronic Arts\\The Sims3 Late Night\\

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Electronic Arts\\The Sims3 Late Night\\
(64 bit Windows)
Step 5. Select TS3EP03.exe and add it to the list. Then add S3Launcher as well.
Step 6. Now navigate to
c:\\program files\\Electronic Arts\\EADM\\bin
or
c:\\program files (x86)\\Electronic Arts\\EADM\\bin
(64 bit Windows)
and add EADM.exe, EADMui.exe, EADMCoreServer.exe, and EADMClientService.exe and then hit okay and exit.
Note: You can add the other TS3SP01.exe, TS3EP02.exe, launcer.exe, etc. files in each of your respective expansion pack folders to ensure this method helps.
Step 7. Reboot and then try playing.

Step 1. Update to the latest .NET framework and then reboot.
Sims 3 Late Night Expansion Pack Crashes in Buy/Build Mode
Try the following steps in this order and check if it fixes the game after completing each step.
Step 1. Update your game to the latest patch.
Step 2. Update your videocard drivers.
Step 3. Try playing Sims 3 in window mode.
Sims 3 Late Night Expansion Crashes While Moving in Family
Step 1. Delete Cache Files
Step 2. Remove the game mods\Packages Folder. Just take them out in put them on your desktop for now.
Step 3. If you have user files you can remove them or rename them.
Step 4. Update your video card drivers and reboot.
Step 5. Update to the latest version of the Sims. Patch all the way up for your expansions.
Step 6. Play the game.

The good codding of program is the one can be runned at the basic version and old machines. Take Examples Warcraft can be played eveb using windows 7 that doesn’t exist yet by the time warcraft are made.. So what happen with you guys, EA or the maker of the sims 3?

I download the game(sims 3 late night on mac), but when I start it , it says: There is no sims 3 late night disc.

Hey I got a question about the first fix. The one for the crash when the play button is pressed. How do you execute this if you have windows vista?
hello, i play about 3 or 4 hours and later the game will be freezing and playing like a robot, what should i do?
Check your computer to make sure you aren’t running out of memory and that your computer isn’t overheating. This game has some memoryleaks I am sure.
I have reviewed all this, have even uninstalled it and went back to install past 3 or 4 hours sims are getting too slow and time, otherwise the game is normal
I think I know the answer when the sims just suddenly hang.. I did all this steps and it still not working.. what i did is run up the last saved that I have, place a copy on my folder choose that copy and make it as the one that I’m gonna use.. so far it doesn’t hang anymore 🙂
Hello, I downloaded S3 Late night and run it on my laptop. Every time I try to play through Launcher it says “Launcher crashes” – I uninstalled and reinstalled the game 5 times till now, EADM also 5 times. I do everything like it’s written. But I found out that the game is not patched. I downloaded from Modthesims one program called The Sims 3 Patch downloader. I run it and when it comes Late night patch, it says $Error. Invalid file somethng” That’s when I try to install patch manually. The program patch downloader says the problematic file is TSLhost.dll. I’m tired of trying to run my game normal.I have CC, but I use Custom Launcher and it installs perfectly my CC. Also I downloaded Twalaan’s mods StoryProgerssion and Master Controller.. I wonder should I try one last time to reinstall all the games and expansions or should I come back to play Sims 2, I’m totally disappointed from those errors. I liked so much Late night… but now it’s teasing me.
Hello. Im having this sound lag/stuttering and sometimes all sound stops and it comes all at once. It started with the base game so im not blaming Late night but i do get the crashing launcher. i contacted ea and tried everything they suggested and nothing works. I keep replying they are going to get sick of me!!
I have looked all over the internet for a suitable answer to my problem and came up empty handed… I purchased sims 3 late night and when i came home and installed it everything went smooth untill i went to play it… When you open up the launcher it shows small icons for the sims 3 and the expansion packs… well it wont let me switch to late night. So i pressed play for the hell of it (eventhough it wouldnt switch) and it went through the motions of starting late night, probably because i had the disc for it in! Im completly stumped, my computer meets the requirments and i have the sims 3. If anyone can help me please comment… I feel like my 40 bucks is down the drain…!!
I GOT A SERIOUS PROBLEM! just got my sims latenight yesterday and i installed it properly, then it says Disc Authentication Failure

hey you guys…. i need some help cos i bought the new sims 3 late night…. on my comp (has no internet connection) i have sims 3 and sims 3 world adventures. When i first played the sims 3 late night it was very slow of the begining and its really annoying because u want to explore the town but it kept on freezing and parts of the town even the person disapeered!! I need help fixing this problem.. i do not have internet connection because its the computer that only has games on it!! I hope you guys can help me!! I really need help!
