It does seem more stable. Would be nice if it was running on the super quick nginx server

I’d love to run nginx to host everything 🙂 But for the ease of compatibility we’re using just standard Apache. We might try to compensate just a little bit by using FastCGI Process Manager / FPM, but it still won’t be as good as a straight up NGINX configuration.

Maybe you should learn how to make it compatible and upgrade to nginx cat dog.

If you have cPanel, from what I’ve read at least, you have to have an instance of Apache running still to handle all cPanel / WHM tasks, so I’m a bit hesitant there because it’d be pretty wasteful resource-wise to run Apache and nginx at the same time. If Naota weren’t so afraid of leaving cPanel and switching to something different, then that wouldn’t be a problem =-O We’d have to convert out htaccess to something nginx compatible too, but that wouldn’t be the annoying part.
