These boards are currently on sale at $129.99 (P67) and at $104.99 (H67) with a shipping price of$7.56.

As most of you may have known, Intel reported having a problem with the previous model of these boards. The problem was in the SATA Controller. As quoted by Intel

“In some cases, the Serial-ATA (SATA) ports within the chipsets may degrade over time, potentially impacting the performance or functionality of SATA-linked devices such as hard disk drives and DVD-drives.”.

All the models were recalled, costing Intel upwards of $700 million. Wow!

Thankfully they were very prompt and the issue has now been resolved. You will not have to worry about that problem now with the new revision.
