To carry things to the house, I’m guessing. If you lived on an island like that, you aren’t going to go back and forth to the mainland all the time. Would you want to carry a month’s worth of groceries and supplies in your arms back and forth from the boat to the house? Guessing that the car is ten feet long, that driveway is at least 100 feet. That’s a long way to carry your water, food, and any other supplies you would need for a month. Just saying.
