Another amazing purchase by Foose, the 357 hunting pistol!!

SUMMARY:
I love this gun!  Not many revolver Co2’s out there, and this one is AWESOME!  It sports the double and single action, either pull the trigger  or cock the hammer back, then pull the trigger to fire.  To reload, press the release button and bend the barrel forward.  The cylinder has 10 shot capacity, with the sexy bonus of holding any BB or pellet as long as its .177 caliber.

Walther P99 (Co2) Review

Well fans, get ready for a new category:  Weapons!
I’d love to talk to you all about my recent purchase of the Walther P99 from Amazon.com

SUMMARY: I recently purchased this near-perfect replica of a Walther P99 powered by Co2 and shoots .177 caliber BB’s.  It functions as a real gun, meaning you must pull the slide back to cock the internal hammer.  The ordinance doesn’t chamber, it stays in the clip actually which is good because it poses less of a threat when determining if the gun is ‘safe.’  Once you fire, the slide blows back, then slides forward to re-cock the internal hammer.  The slide catches back when the magazine is spent.  To release the slide, pull the slide back and release or press the slide release lever.  The ejection is on the trigger guard.  The safety is very well built.  To put it in ‘fire’ mode, you must pull back and up, but to put it on ‘safe’ you simply push it down.

Apple Unveils New In-Phone Ad System

apple-unveils-new-in-phone-ad-system

Well, it’s finally here: along with Steve Jobs’ introduction of a shining, tempered-glass and aluminum shelled new generation iPhone that’s had a good part of the internet in uproarious joy, so too came the ad service that more than a few people had speculated would come (I’m sure they have anyways).

Called iAd (duh), the service will see in-app ads that will be themselves interactive in some form or another. While these ads will take up the entire screen, there will be options to close out the ads and won’t be locked in place. Additionally, since it’s Apple, there’s a rather high probability that we’ll see advertisers wrung through the same strict standards that app developers are. Anything remotely resembling a Head-On commercial on the iPhone is, I think, doubtful (unless you pull it up deliberately on YouTube to annoy someone else).

Review: Metro 2033 (PC edition)

review-metro-2033-pc-edition

Review: Metro 2033

Genre: First Person Shooter, Horror

Metro 2033 is not the most noteworthy of titles for a couple of reasons: it’s a very linear game, the FPS engine brings nothing new to the genre, and it’s based off of a Russian novel the likes of which most people in the US haven’t heard of before.

It’s kind of a shame we haven’t then. 4A Games’ effort, despite being uninspired gameplay wise nails down the presentation and the story, producing a moody horror atmosphere in post-apocalyptic Russia that draws players into a true struggle for survival in the frozen wastes and bleak tunnels of what now comprises Russia for the remaining Muscovites.

Following review contains SPOILERS, read at your own risk.

Free iPad App: 1000 Ultimate Experiences

This app is free for now. Get it from Here at the iTunes website. It’s normally $20 so this is a nice 5 finger discount if I do say so myself! I haven’t used it, but thought I’d go ahead and post it for anyone interested. Adios!
