iPhone Horn Stand Acoustic Amplifier
Last Updated on Thursday, 4 November 2010 02:25 Written by Enki Wednesday, 3 November 2010 02:07
This is a neat little invention that has its uses! I’m somewhat of an audiophile, so I can’t stand music played from external speakers on phones or most other devices, this should be a nice cheap and efficient fix.
“The iPhone Horn Stand acoustically amplifies the sound from the built-in speaker of your iPhone by more than double. Without requiring any external power source or batteries, you and your friends can enjoy music and videos 13 decibels louder.”

Quirky little adapter turns your iPod touch into a full phone
Last Updated on Sunday, 15 August 2010 11:50 Written by servbot_kill Sunday, 15 August 2010 06:10
Well not so much little, per se. The “Apple Peel” 520 is a case that fits around an iPod touch and plugs into the bottom, adding a microphone, SIM card slot, speaker, and various apps that apparently turn your iPod into a fully functional phone, with SMS and voicemail and whatnot. The price? $70 USD, although only available in China right now.

iPhone 4 / iOS4 – No Privacy, Constant Info Sent to Apple + AT&T
Last Updated on Sunday, 27 June 2010 07:33 Written by DarkKnightH20 Sunday, 27 June 2010 07:33
Yep. Apple decided that it would be a great idea to constantly have their iPhone 4 send information that should generally remain private to both AT&T and themselves. In my opinion, this makes it crap, though I’m sure a lot of the Apple fans won’t really care. Here’s some informaton on them FORCING updates on your phone…Not that everything in quotes was said by an employee of Apple:

Apple Unveils New In-Phone Ad System
Last Updated on Monday, 7 June 2010 06:20 Written by servbot_kill Monday, 7 June 2010 06:20
Well, it’s finally here: along with Steve Jobs’ introduction of a shining, tempered-glass and aluminum shelled new generation iPhone that’s had a good part of the internet in uproarious joy, so too came the ad service that more than a few people had speculated would come (I’m sure they have anyways).
Called iAd (duh), the service will see in-app ads that will be themselves interactive in some form or another. While these ads will take up the entire screen, there will be options to close out the ads and won’t be locked in place. Additionally, since it’s Apple, there’s a rather high probability that we’ll see advertisers wrung through the same strict standards that app developers are. Anything remotely resembling a Head-On commercial on the iPhone is, I think, doubtful (unless you pull it up deliberately on YouTube to annoy someone else).
You can see the original Gizmodo article here.
