The fallout from the Jason West and Vince Zampella firings continues, as Infinity Ward studios now sees an exodus of its senior developers from the company.
Up to this point, Infinity Ward, owned by Activision, has now seen thirteen of its senior staff leave the company including West and Zampella.
Whether this means Modern Warfare will still continue to be able to be produced under Activision remains to be seen; if necessary, the other Activision-owned development house, Treyarch, can take over for much of the functions lost with the recent departures of Infinity Ward employees. Treyarch has been known for producing the odd-numbered titles in the Call of Duty series still hearkening back to the series’ roots as a World War II-themed shooter.
