Windows 8 and Windows 9 Leak

windows-8-and-windows-9-leak

Recently Microsoft made a mistake and leaked too much information about their next two operating systems. According to PcAdvisor Microsoft posted a job vacancy on LinkedIn, for a potential hire to work on “128-bit architecture compatibility with the Windows 8 kernel and Windows 9 project plan”.

128-Bit architecture already? People haven’t even fully utilized 64bit, nor have enough people adopted it. This could definitely be a fake post, but wouldn’t it be interesting if it were true? Windows 8 is scheduled to be released in 2012.

Intel and AMD have looked into it but as far as I am aware there has been no production attempts. =P I can’t even see a reason for 128bit in the next 20 years.
