First Mass Effect 2 DLC: Kasumi’s Stolen Memory

The first Mass Effect 2 DLC / Add-on pack will be released on April 6th, 2010 for the Xbox 360 and PC. The content that this DLC brings to the table: a new character who is named Kasumi, a new weapon (“Locust” SMG) and a new Achievement.

You can find Kasumi any time by going to the Citadel. When you recruit Kasumi, you have to go on a recovery mission involving an art collector. It isn’t a huge, lengthy DLC, but it does promise to be good.

Borderlands DLC Secret Armory of General Knoxx Cracked and Leaked

Gearbox, the creators of the FPS RPG Borderlands, recently released the DLC / Add-on Pack called the Secret Armory of General Knoxx. It was released on the 25th, but already it has been not only leaked throughout the internet before then, but shortly after was already cracked. Crackers are getting faster and distribution via file downloading methods such as torrenting, HTTP file hosting websites (i.e. Rapidshare, Megaupload, Mediafire), and general p2p. Patch 1.30 is also out. This patch was released on the 25th for PC. That, too, has been cracked. This applies to not only the PC version, but also the Xbox 360 version and the Playstation 3 (PS3) version. Gearbox does an amazing job though. Support the developers — purchase the DLC legally! Review: Borderlands: Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot

I installed the DLC for borderlands:  Mad Moxxi and I played the first few rounds.  It’s not all that bad so far.  All enemies are so far lvl 48 (They’ll prolly be stronger if more people play) and between each wave, there are massive ammo and health drops.  Inbetween rounds, you get weapon drops.  Now, each wave / round is different, because that winch mods the arena.  For example, she reduces gravity, or sends in all midgets/psychos, or all badasses/bad muthas, or she goes further… like making certain weapons do more damage, and others reduced damage, or she increases the recharge rate on enemies shields, or the health of enemies.  The music is pretty cool too, and I did find some good drops, although they are quite rare.

So that’s the preview, I’ll let the rest be discovered by the rest of you gamers.  Don’t be surprised if that winch pulls crazier shinanigans….

UPDATE:  This is a cruel version.  No matter what Playthrough I am in, it’s the same.  They get more health, shields and damage steadily.  Also those mod factors stack upon each other…  I don’t think even Brick can hold up very long, especially with the mod combo:  “Enemies have better weapons” and “Enemy’s take more damage” on a Badass Round……
