There have been quite a few dual LGA 1366 socket boards out in the market already, but none of them have the mix between being an ultimate server and a high end gaming rig. This board will encode movies, render images, or even load games faster than ever. It’s also known as the Classified SR-2. It is definitely future-proof.

EVGA is proud to present the EVGA Classified SR-2, the absolute ultimate for the extreme user. It takes everything that made the X58 Classified 4-way SLI motherboard great and doubled it up. Now you can experience the ultimate in overclocked multithreaded performance by way of Dual 1366 sockets which allow for hyper-threaded Intel Xeon CPU’s to be combined together for massive amounts of workload to be spread across a multitude of processing threads.
Important note: a case with 9 or more expansion slots is required, 10 for 4-Way SLI. See this page for a list of compatible PC cases.

Wow. I guess I will have to get that for Foose’s computer. And like that, his comp just raised another 1k in price.

His computer is going to have to be watercooled.. lets work on it together? My computer is boring now that I’ve assembled it. Though I still should get a review of it made, since its really unique.

…lets make a custom case build like that one you posted. lol….

Oh and since we are switching to Xeon since the 6core processor is out, we have to add 3k more instead of 1k.
