Another amazing purchase by Foose, the 357 hunting pistol!!

SUMMARY:
I love this gun!  Not many revolver Co2’s out there, and this one is AWESOME!  It sports the double and single action, either pull the trigger  or cock the hammer back, then pull the trigger to fire.  To reload, press the release button and bend the barrel forward.  The cylinder has 10 shot capacity, with the sexy bonus of holding any BB or pellet as long as its .177 caliber.

I have fit in 5 different rounds in the cylinder, making it an effective tactical weapon for different scenarios.  The rear sights right above the safety are adjustable, so you can tune it for AMAZING accuracy.  In addition to add to the accuracy, there is no recoil and the barrel is rifled (adds spin to the bullet).  And yes, this gun can kill small game.

SPECS:
Powered by:  Co2
Ammo:  .177 Caliber BB’s or Pellets (See below, “Ordiance”)
Capacity:  10 rounds
Velocity:  435 ft/sec (Reported to go up to 450+ with certain pellets)
Customizable?:  I think, it has a rail mount on the barrel, yet I can’t find an attachment

ORDINANCE: (.177 Caliber)
-Normal Zinc/Steel/Copper BB’s (I have double stacked them, amazing power and accuracy)
Gamo Red Fire
Gamo Raptor PBA
-Gamo Rocket

Crosman Destroyer
Magnum, Match, Hunter, Master

PERFORMANCE:  (Tested by Foose and Naota, average hits on a 6″ target)
1 – 5 Meters:   100 – 97%
6 – 10 Meters:  96 – 73%
11 – 20 Meters: 72 – 43%
20+ Meters:  42 – 21%
We used regular BB’s for this test, but I’m sure with lead pellets, the results would have improved.

Best Power:  First 30 shots from a fresh Co2
Best Accuracy:  31 – 52 shots into a fresh Co2
Average:  52 -80 shots into a fresh Co2
Weak Sauce:  80+ into a fresh Co2

REVIEW:
This gun is the best one I own.  Although it falls short of the C11’s 480 ft/sec, the different kinds of ammunition makes it more powerful.  For  instance, I loaded a Red Fire hunting round and shot it at the target and it pierced all 3 layers of shirts in back of it.  The lead pellets are great against soft targets, because they ‘mushroom’ and cause maximum damage (much like a hollow point) but for hard bodied targets, use the BB’s.  Handle gets a bit loose, but I seriously could care less.  9.5 / 10.

CULTURAL REFERENCES: (Of the ACTUAL gun / cartridge)
-.357 refers to the cartridge, not a gun
-.357 cartridge has enough power to produce hyrdostatic shock, incapacitating the target much faster than blood loss.  To put this in perspective, a hit to the chest will hemmorage the brain due to sudden blood pressure change from the hydrostatic shock
-The gun is similar to a Colt Python or a S&W 686
-The gun is a part of a basis for Vash The Stampede’s .45 Colt Peace Keeper (With a lot of imaginative  perks and other gun designs combined to make his gun a true sci-fi  and impractical gun.  For one, the barrel is aligned with the 6 o’clock chamber, versus the 12 o’clock.  With this, the recoil would throw the gun DOWN and with the .45 long colt cartridge, most likely throw the gun to your nuts. )
