Remember the cartoon series Captain Planet and the Planeteers? Or the sequel, The Adventures of Captain Planet? Well, turns out there may be a Captain Planet Movie coming out soon!

Crazy right? After all this time they decide to make a movie. Talk about a blast from the past, huh?

This will be a live-action Captain Planet Movie — not a cartoon one — which makes it all the more intriguing.

Will it be a flop? Or will it somehow dominate the movie charts of films that come out in 2012. Regardless, one thing is for sure: that I’ll end up seeing this movie just for the fun of it. Information on the Captain Planet Movie Release Date is not yet available, but I’m sure more information will come soon. This movie is a cooperation between Cartoon Network and producers Don Murphy & Susan Montford.
