Super Mario Crossover

I just had the pleasure of playing a fun game called Super Mario Crossover. The creator took over one year to make this. They took nintendo stars Mario, Samus, Megaman, Link and others, and put them all into the same game. Its actually fun. Try it out Super Mario Crossover here.

I found this to be actually a very, very cool card trick. Basically, the guy is telling a story using cards and announces each one before it shows. Watch it to see what I mean. Enjoy!

Funny Borderland Trivia

funny-borderland-trivia

So as I was casually browsing through the web, I ran into a few humourous comments and quips about Borderland material:

-General Knoxx makes a comment on Mordecai on his twitter account:
“troops will deploy today if all goes to plan. just met a man named mord-ee-kai. Dude, eat something!!” (Referencing Mordecai’s rather thin build, which also brings up the question of how Mordecai is even supposed to hold sniper rifles and Rocket launchers)

-In T-Bone Junction, there is a secret shrine of Lilith which consists of her wanted poster and two spinning circles over her breasts.

-Pictured on “Wanted” posters in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, Brick has a higher bounty on his head, at $9,999,999.99, than the others, who are targeted for $1,000,000.00. His listed crime is “Murder and Dismemberment of anything that moves”.

-When playing as Brick as the host of a game, you can get an artificial speed boost by going into Berserk mode within less than a second of being downed or dying otherwise which will not impair your ability to use weaponry or your peripheral vision, but will fool the game into thinking that you are moving in Berserk mode (Brick’s walking speed in Berskerk mode is the equivalent of a normal sprinting speed).  The effects of  the glitch are somewhat permanent with the speed boost going away only after using Berserk mode again or after you quit the game. The glitch is infinitely repeatable as long as you are the host of the game.

-In the mission Wanted: Dead!, displayed text from each character highlights their individual personality traits. Lilith’s script is signed off with a kiss mark, Mordecai uses a cursive hand-writing scrawl, Roland prints neatly in capitals, and Brick’s writing is a barely legible and child-like scribble.
